CLASS SCHEDULES AND FEES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE
ENROLLMENT ALERT! – Students are advised to call the office and sign up early to be assured of a place in the class of your choice. For courses to be conducted, a minimum enrollment of 4 or 5 fully paid students is required. GAS member/students receive parking privileges upon paid enrollment before class begins. The Greenwich Art Society office will maintain contact with enrolled students should there be any change in scheduling.
REGISTRATION: To register for a course, please call our office (203-629-1533) on weekdays between 9:30 a.m. and
12:30 p.m. to make sure a space is available in the course of your choice. Then mail in the registration form and your
payment. Your space will ONLY be guaranteed when payment is received before the start of the class.
If you would like to continue taking a course you are now enrolled in, please register and pay for the course two weeks in
advance of the registration period. Your space in class will then be guaranteed. Further enrollment will be offered on a first-
come, first-served basis. The Greenwich Art Society will contact enrolled students should there be any changes in
scheduling.
CANCELLATION OF CLASSES DUE TO BAD WEATHER:
If the public schools in Greenwich are closed, GAS will also be closed. If school openings are merely delayed, GAS will be open. Check greeenwichschools.org, beginning at 5:15 a.m., or listen to WGCH, 1490 AM.
CANCELLATIONS: If the School cancels a course or workshop, all fees will be refunded. In the event a course or
workshop is cancelled due to low enrollment, notice will be given one to three days prior to the course or workshop start
date.
COURSE OR WORKSHOP CHANGES:
The School reserves the right to change its calendar, withdraw or modify courses or workshops. The School reserves the
right to use substitute instructors, as needed. Classes or workshops not held due to bad weather or instructor’s absence
will be rescheduled according to studio availability.
REFUNDS FOR COURSES
The student must notify the Office before the first class meets to receive a refund. No refunds will be given for any reason
after the first class meets.
PARKING PERMITS: In order to receive a parking permit, current GAS member/students must be registered and paid up
before class begins. Permits are issue to GAS member/students for spaces where the meters are in effect. Parking
permits are not available to non-members and are not issued for workshops.
Due to the demolition of the fire station and to avoid risk of damage to your cars, the town is not allowing parking in the small lot across from the fire station on Mason for the duration of the demolition (and perhaps beyond). Your current permit allows you to park for free at any meter on Mason and on Havemeyer, close to Mason. Please let the GAS office know if you have any questions!
