Office Hours: Monday through Friday 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

ENROLLMENT ALERT! – Students are advised to call the office and sign up early to be assured of a place in the class of your choice. For courses to be conducted, a minimum enrollment of 4 or 5 fully paid students is required. The Greenwich Art Society office will maintain contact with enrolled students should there be any change in scheduling.

REGISTRATION: CALL FIRST To register for a course, please call our office (203-629-1533) on weekdays between 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. to make sure a space is available in the course of your choice. Complete the Registration Form and send it with your payment to Greenwich Art Society, 299 Greenwich Avenue, Greenwich, CT 06830. Your space will only be guaranteed when payment is received before the start of the course.

If you would like to continue taking a course you are now enrolled in, please register and pay for the course two weeks in advance of the registration period. Your space in class will then be guaranteed. Further enrollment will be offered on a first- come, first-served basis. Enrolled students should there be any changes in scheduling.

If the public schools in Greenwich are closed, GAS will also be closed. If school openings are merely delayed, GAS will be open. Check, beginning at 5:15 a.m., or listen to WGCH, 1490 AM.

CANCELLATIONS: If the School cancels a course or workshop, all fees will be refunded. In the event a course or workshop is cancelled due to low enrollment, notice will be given one to three days prior to the course or workshop start date.

The School reserves the right to change its calendar, withdraw or modify courses or workshops, or to use substitute instructors, as needed. Classes or workshops not held due to bad weather or instructor’s absence will be rescheduled according to studio availability.

The student must notify the Office before the first class meets to receive a refund. No refunds will be given for any reason after the first class meets. For classes that have begun, GAS may offer a credit (to be used within one year) at our discretion.

PARKING: The Town of Greenwich has new parking provisions. The Board of Education North parking lot across the street from the Arts Center building will have a total of 37 parking spaces and the spaces will be 4 hours. New pay stations have been installed that will allow for easy payment rather than feeding meters. The pay station will provide step- by-step payment directions. We advise students to come to class a bit earlier and first drop off supplies either at the rear or the front of the building. Then, proceed to the parking lot in order to secure a parking space and become familiar with the pay stations.

Please let the GAS office know if you have any questions!
