Welcome to our Fall 2017 Schedule! The Greenwich Art Society Studio School, as the oldest (and only) visual arts pro- gram in Greenwich taught by professional artists, continues its strong tradition of offering the very best in quality instruction.
Our school program is designed to present courses that consistently reinforce the value of training in the core fundamentals of the visual arts. The real study of the craft and processes in the visual arts is not a flash-in-the-pan, results-oriented endeavor but takes time and consistent effort.
In addition to our diverse program foundation program, we are starting a series of Thursday night lectures in Professional Development for Artists. We have engaged experienced faculty to help us develop this new arm of our school program. We are very excited about broadening the scope of what we offer to our students and members as they continue to build their art careers.
See our 2017 Fall schedule inside and call the office early at 203-629-1533 to be assured of a place in the course of your choice. Good luck in your future studies and thank you for your continued support of the Studio School!

CANCELLATIONS: If the School cancels a course or workshop, all fees will be refunded. In the event a course or
workshop is cancelled due to low enrollment, notice will be given one to three days prior to the course or workshop start
COURSE OR WORKSHOP CHANGES:
The School reserves the right to change its calendar, withdraw or modify courses or workshops, or to use substitute instructors, as needed. Classes or workshops not held due to bad weather or instructor’s absence
will be rescheduled according to studio availability.
REFUNDS FOR COURSES:
The student must notify the Office before the first class meets to receive a refund. No refunds will be given for any reason
after the first class meets. For classes that have begun, GAS may offer a credit (to be used within one year) at our discretion.
PARKING: The Town of Greenwich has new parking provisions. The Board of Education North parking lot across the street from the Arts Center building will have a total of 37 parking spaces and the spaces will be 4 hours. New pay stations have been installed that will allow for easy payment rather than feeding meters. The pay station will provide step- by-step payment directions. We advise students to come to class a bit earlier and first drop off supplies either at the rear or the front of the building. Then, proceed to the parking lot in order to secure a parking space and become familiar with the pay stations.
Please let the GAS office know if you have any questions!
