NEW: MOTHER/DAUGHTER WORKSHOPS IN FASHION
Register for 1 or all 3 workshops (limit to 10 mother/daughter pairs)

Fashion Drawing
(Saturday September 20, 2:30- 5:30)
Draw from the model! It’s fun and challenging to learn the style and techniques for capturing
the fashion figure. Students create a croqui figure and learn to draw clothing shapes that can
express their creative design ideas. $100 (model and materials provided.)

Drawing in Style- Fashion Accessories
(Saturday, October 25, 2:30 – 5:30)
Students create a full color still life of style and trends in accessories. Learn to draw prints, plaids, fabrics, feathers and

fur that combine to make fun accessory shapes. $100 (materials provided.)

Elements of Style- Drawing, Fashion and Decorating Trends
(Saturday, November 22, 2:30 – 5:30)
Students explore color combinations, learn drawing skills, and use photo collage to create a trend board that expresses

their style in fashion or design ideas for their dream bedroom. (Save those countless catalogs and bring your favorites

to class to use as resource materials.)

MONDAYS:
NEW: THE ART OF MONOPRINTS for PARENT and CHILD with MARY NEWCOMB
 

Mary Cassatt, Degas and Picasso did it, and you can too! Participants in this four-week, parent/child workshop will

explore the printmaking technique of monoprint, a process whereby only one print is pulled from the printing plate.

Using safe, non-toxic paints, you and your child will produce unique one of a kind prints perfect for holiday giving.

Sharing this exciting, fun and easy printmaking technique with the special child (siblings welcome) in your life will be a

rewarding experience for all. Children aged 5-14 years.

FASHION DRAWING FOR UPPER AND MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS with MICHELLE RUDOLPH
 

For the aspiring young designer, this course will improve drawing skills and teach the techniques of fashion

illustration. The class will focus on figure drawing (from clothed models) and include sketching fabrics and

accessories. Designed for the student who loves to draw and is excited by the fashion field.

Tuition includes materials and model fees.

Explore a variety of 2-dimensional art materials and find new ways to express your creativity. Students experience

For students serious about the visual arts. An advanced, well-structured program aimed at developing their full

potential as artists. Based on the two prerequisites for the making of an artist: an extensive, solid technical knowledge

and the imaginative conceptual aspects of art inherent in any creative endeavor of significance. This course is

exclusively about painting and drawing.
